Toshiba, the Japanese Electronic giant, is looking stern to intensify the already bitter battle between Electronic Warheads in the ‘ Tablet War ‘. Toshiba looks all set to unveil, what it calls the ‘world’s thinnest, lightest’ Tablet at the biggest Consumer Electronics Show ( CES ) which will be held from Jan, 10 in Las Vegas, U.S.
Toshiba calls this Tablet Excite, which will be an Android Honeycomb powered Tablet, and according to Toshiba it will be the lightest and thinnest Android powered Tablet. Well, the Specifications that have been disclosed speculate that the tablet will be 7.7mm in thickness, have a 10.1-inch organic EL display with 1280×800 resolution. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP 4430 processor, it is set to support wireless charging. Storage options will include between 16GB or 32GB .The Tablet will include a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front facing camera and micro HDMI out.
This launch from Toshiba will surely raise some eyebrows, and the success and failure of it will depend entirely on how useful will this product be in the daily life, and what differentiates it from all the other manufacturers that the consumer is inclined to.
